University websites are among our most highly visible communications.
In order to create a cohesive user experience across the university’s web domain, all academic and administrative units on campus should use and abide by the design requirements of the current website templates.
The new university web templates were introduced in summer 2015. They were designed mobile-first, and have been thoroughly tested for both usability and accessibility.
If you are currently using an older UT template (i.e., 2007 or 2012), it is your responsibility to update your website to the 2015 templates by June 1, 2016.
Still unclear about whether you should be using the templates? Contact email@example.com.
If you are downloading either the WordPress theme or HTML web templates to build upon, we recommend that you join the UTWEBDEV LISTSERV for information regarding updates, tips, tricks, and meetups, or just to ask questions and troubleshoot issues with the larger community of web designers, developers, and online content managers at UT.
