Electronic Stationery

Even the most simple communications should look their best.

Electronic stationery should be used when sending official communication through email or other electronic needs. You should not print from these templates. Instead, you should order printed stationery from University Printing and Mail.




Using the Letterhead Templates

  1. Visit the Brand Assets website and download the zipped folder containing the templates.
  2. Customize your unit contact information and craft the body of your letter using the predefined fonts and margins.
  3. Do not edit the images in the header or footer—they contain the essential elements of the approved university letterhead.
  4. Save your letter as a PDF and send electronically.

Using the Fax Cover Sheet Template

  1. Visit the Brand Assets website and download the zipped folder containing the template.
  2. Customize your cover sheet by editing the unit contact information in the predefined font styles and sizes.
  3. Be sure not to edit the header.

Using the Report Cover Sheet Template

The report cover sheet template allows you to create a cover sheet for a report or white paper that properly identifies the document as coming from the university.

  1. Visit the Brand Assets website and download the zipped folder containing the template.
  2. Customize your cover sheet by editing the unit contact information in the predefined font styles and sizes.
  3. Be sure not to edit the header.

Using the Name Tag Templates

Name tag templates are a simple and cost-effective way to incorporate the university’s identity into your meeting or event. The templates allow you to print attendee and participant names on name tags featuring the university logo and a touch of orange.

Templates are available in a couple of different layouts in two sizes (5390 and 5395) for use in Microsoft Word or on the Avery website or app.

Word Templates
If you need to create and print just a few name tags (size 5390), you should use one of these templates.

  1. Visit the Brand Assets website and download the zipped folder containing the templates.
  2. Customize your name tags by editing the text boxes in the predefined font styles and sizes.
  3. Print on Avery 5390 or compatible labels or name tag inserts.

Avery Templates

If you need to create large quantities of name tags using Mail Merge, you should use one of these templates.

  1. Visit the Brand Assets website and download the zipped folder containing the templates.
  2. Create a free account on Avery’s website or download the Avery app.
  3. Select “Open Project” and select one of the saved “.avery” template files. NOTE: Avery calls template files “Previously Saved Project.”
  4. Follow the instructions to import your data into the template using the predefined font styles and sizes.
  5. Print on Avery 5390, 5395, or compatible labels or name tag inserts.
